Pharis Energy Ltd, the North Sea focused heavy oil development company, is delighted to announce the appointment of Christian Wilms as non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect. Christian joins the Company having spent over 20 years working in the industry with Shell and MOL Group. At Shell Christian held a number of leadership positions. After leaving Shell he joined MOL Group as Senior Vice President Subsurface & Field Development responsible for all development projects as well as supporting business development and exploration.
Pharis Energy, the North Sea focused company with the intention of initiating the first major offshore steam flood project in the world, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded part-blocks 28/2a and 28/3a in the 31st Seaward Licensing Round (“31stRound”) by the Oil and Gas Authority (“OGA”). Pharis will hold a 100% interest in the newly awarded licence.
On the 23rd of March 2017 the Oil and Gas Authority announced the results of the 29th Seaward Licensing Round. The Steam Oil Production Company had applied for four part blocks surrounding the Pilot field. We were delighted to learn that we are to be offered all the blocks we applied for and look forward to working with OGA and industry partners to progress a steam flood demonstration project on the Pilot field.
On the 6th of November the UK Government announced the results of the 28th Seaward Licensing Round. The Steam Oil Production Company had applied for two blocks 21/27a and 28/2a. We were delighted to learn that we are to be offered these blocks and look forward to working with DECC and industry partners to create a viable development plan for the Pilot and Harbour discoveries.
